MC Music ("MC Music," "we," "us," or "our") provides a music playback and music-management application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you.
By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
## 1. Information We Collect
### Information you provide
Depending on the features you use, we may collect:
- **Account information:** name, mobile phone number, email address, password, account role, and account status.
- **Sign-in information:** credentials or authentication tokens provided through mobile-number login, email login, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple. We do not receive your Google or Apple account password.
- **Profile information:** information associated with your account, including membership level and subscription-related profile details.
- **Support information:** information you choose to provide when contacting customer support.
- **Music and playlist information:** names, categories, descriptions, file names, file paths, and playback settings associated with audio files that you import into the App.
### Information collected automatically
The App and its service providers may process:
- Authentication tokens stored on your device to keep you signed in.
- Subscription and purchase information, such as product identifiers, entitlement status, subscription type, expiration date, and a RevenueCat app user identifier.
- Basic device and application information needed to operate authentication, subscriptions, audio playback, and compatibility features.
- Diagnostic information generated when a request or feature fails, to the extent available through the App or its service providers.
The App does not intentionally collect your precise location, contacts, photos, health information, or advertising identifier.
## 2. Local Audio Files and Device Storage
When you choose to import audio files, the App requests access through the device document picker. The App uses the selected files for local playback and stores related playlist metadata and playback preferences in local device storage.
Your imported audio files and local playlists are intended to remain on your device. The App does not upload the audio files to our servers as part of the local import feature. If you delete the App, clear its storage, or remove a file from the device, locally stored information may be lost.
## 3. Device Permissions
The App may request permissions needed for particular features, including:
- **Files or documents:** to let you select audio files for local playback.
- **Audio and background playback:** to play audio, including when the App is in the background where supported by your device and operating system.
- **Microphone/audio permission:** the current application configuration may declare an audio or microphone-related permission. The App will only use a permission when a feature actually requires it, and you may manage permissions in your device settings.
You can deny or withdraw permissions, but some features may not work correctly as a result.
## 4. How We Use Information
We use information to:
1. Create and manage your account.
2. Authenticate you and maintain your signed-in session.
3. Provide music catalogs, local playback, playlists, and related App features.
4. Process, validate, and restore subscriptions and membership benefits.
5. Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the App.
6. Protect the App, prevent misuse, troubleshoot errors, and maintain security.
7. Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the local audio files you import for advertising or profiling.
## 5. How We Share Information
We may share information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above:

- **Authentication providers:** with Google and Apple when you choose their sign-in methods, subject to their respective privacy policies.
- **Subscription provider:** with RevenueCat to display offerings, process subscription events, determine entitlement status, and support subscription restoration. Purchases are also subject to Apple App Store or other applicable platform terms and privacy practices.
- **Legal and safety purposes:** when required by law, legal process, or a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the App.
- **Business transfers:** in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
We do not share your imported local audio files with these parties as part of the App's normal local playback feature.
## 6. Data Retention
We retain account, authentication, support, and subscription-related information for as long as needed to provide the App, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods may vary by the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.
Information stored locally on your device remains there until you remove it, clear the App's storage, sign out where applicable, or uninstall the App. Some account or transaction records may remain in backups or records that must be retained by law.

- Sign out and remove authentication tokens from the App.

- Manage device permissions through your operating-system settings.
- Manage or cancel App Store subscriptions through your Apple account or the applicable app-store account. Uninstalling the App does not necessarily cancel a subscription.
